Bobby Malonoski is a Vice President at Chenel Capital where he is focused on evaluating and sourcing venture and growth stage investment opportunities and supporting founders to grow their businesses. Prior to Chenel Capital, Bobby worked in investment banking at B. Riley and Deutsche Bank, where he structured, negotiated, and executed capital raising, M&A, and strategic advisory deals, with a focus in the industrial sector. He also spent time at Shunra Software, a portfolio company of Insight Ventures and Viola Ventures, helping lead them to a successful exit through acquisition by HP.
Bobby's passionate about investing in early-stage companies with groundbreaking ideas and some initial traction, but still have a lot of room to grow. He finds it rewarding to strategize and solve early issues to help companies scale to success.
Bobby received an MBA from the University of Notre Dame and a Bachelor’s degree in Accounting and Finance from St. Joseph's University. He also sits on the New York Young Professionals Board for Good Sports.
